Camp Tsungani was established on Lake Lewisville (within the community of Highland Village) in the summer of 1970, having moved from its previous location on the Trinity River near Sandy Lake. It is still operating but is now called "Camp on the Lake". 2020 marked the 50-year anniverary of the camp at the Lake Lewisville location.
